Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join the Operational Support team in Adult Social Care. The team provides administrative and front-facing support to a wide range of teams across Adult Social Care, including safeguarding vulnerable adults, carrying out mental health assessments and setting up/reviewing support for adults with social care needs. Operational support officers process referrals, input and correct data, handle customer queries by phone, email or face-to-face at reception, and use the finance system to process orders for adult social care provisions.

Qualifications
  • GCSE grade A*-C (grade 4-9 in the new GCSE qualification grades) in English and Maths or equivalents. You will be asked to provide evidence of Maths and English certificates or predicted grades
Role details
  • Management and Supervision: You will be working under the guidance and supervision of an experienced member of staff
  • Progression: This vacancy offers the possibility to apply for sustained and permanent employment within Enfield Council
  • Key Training Information: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
  • Working Week: Full time, 36 hours per week including training
  • Enfield Council apprentice pay rates: £25,996 per annum Level 3 Apprenticeship
