Overview

OPR are looking for an excellent Block Manager in Exeter to take ownership of an amazing portfolio in the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Block Manager to join a progressive and ambitious managing agent in Exeter, managing a well-maintained portfolio of 20 blocks. If you are a residential property manager who is ready to step into block, or an experienced block manager looking for the next step, this role is perfect – offering hands on experience without the stress of unmanageable volumes. With directors who actively back staff development, you’ll be trusted, supported, and rewarded as you grow your career in block management here.

The Role Will Include
  • Collecting and managing service charges and ground rent
  • Managing a portfolio of 20 residential blocks in the local area
  • Coordinating contractors for maintenance, repairs, and improvements
  • Handling insurance renewals and compliance matters
  • Carrying out regular site inspections
  • Managing Section 20 consultations for major works
  • Chairing AGMs
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and fire regulations
Salary & Benefits
  • £28,000 – £34,000 salary DOE
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 5:00
  • Industry qualification sponsorships

Criteria Needed To Be Invited For An Interview
  • 2+ years minimum property management experience (required)
  • Comfortable in a small team and happy to take initiative
  • Strong admin and organizational skills – hands-on and proactive
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • Driving License not required
