A leading financial institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a professional for a content leadership role within their Investment Content Team. This position involves creating high-impact investment content, managing production processes, and leveraging insights for improvement. The right candidate will have strong investment expertise, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Join the Investment Content Team within our Global Institutional Marketing department.
You will play an integral role in the production, distribution and measurement of investment content across diverse media platforms to enhance RBC GAM’s engagement with our target institutional and intermediary audiences.
You also have an opportunity to accelerate the evolution of the content function globally.
This role has a hybrid working pattern of 4 days in the office and the option to work 1 day from home.
Content leadership: Partner with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to generate high impact thought leadership across media channels (print, digital, video), ensuring alignment with commercial goals and client needs. In particular, develop new content relevant to an intermediary audience.
Weekly CIO note: Manage the production of the weekly CIO note, ensuring timely delivery by 9am every Friday morning.
Evergreen content stewardship: Refresh and update existing evergreen materials, such as webpages, strategy profiles and whitepapers.
End-to-end ownership: Take accountability for editorial calendars, timely delivery, impact measurement and stakeholder engagement.
Messaging: Proactively work with key Investment and Distribution stakeholders to articulate client need(s), key messages and client call to action ahead of content production, ensuring these messages are clearly reflected in content output.
Maximize leverage: Leverage insights across different media types, geographies and distribution opportunities. In particular, work closely with global content teams to ensure swift leverage of content across regions.
Evidence-based improvements: Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to analyse content performance, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement, such as campaign success or A/B testing results.
Innovation: Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics to stay ahead of industry trends. Specifically, demonstrate efficiency gains through AI.
Must-have
Investment expertise: Strong experience in creating investment insights within asset management. Deep knowledge of investment markets and decision making, and confidence to challenge/influence senior stakeholders. Investment strategy and client-facing experience an advantage.
Writing excellence: Proven ability to originate content independently and distil complex investment concepts into clear, engaging and visually compelling content for institutional and intermediary audiences.
Resilience and agility: Prolific output capacity, problem-solving agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Leadership: Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, coupled with the proven autonomy to drive initiatives independently.
Innovation: Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and a growth mindset for testing emerging trends.
Regulatory acumen: A good understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions.
