Assistant Estimator - Graduate Opportunity

Are you a recent graduate in Maths, Finance, or Construction (or about to graduate)? Do you have a head for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and the ambition to kickstart your career in the construction industry? This role is with a leading housebuilder seeking an Assistant Estimator to join their Preconstruction team in Leeds. It is a great opportunity to learn, gain hands-on experience, and develop into a fully-fledged Estimator with clear progression opportunities. You'll be working closely with the Estimating Manager and a supportive team, getting involved in a wide range of activities such as:

  • Supporting the tendering process on exciting new build projects.
  • Assisting with cost analysis, benchmarking, and maintaining accurate data.
  • Inputting subcontractor bids and coordinating tender documents.
  • Learning how to review, prepare, and support bids that help secure new projects.

No prior estimating experience is required - just a relevant degree (Maths graduates especially encouraged to apply!), confidence with Microsoft Excel/Word, and a genuine enthusiasm for starting your career in construction.
