All Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a growing company in Colchester, Essex.

This is a full-time Night Shift, temporary-to-permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication diagrams.
  • Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output.
  • Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Utilising hand and power tools for general assembly tasks.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to optimise production processes.
  • Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting.
  • Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Participating in full training and induction programs.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven experience in sheet metal work, fabrication, or a similar assembly/production role.
  • Confidence and proficiency in using sheet metal tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, drills, grinders).
  • A strong ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and instructions, particularly those related to sheet metal components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
Shift Details

Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available - Up to £18.78 per hour!)

10pm till 6am - £16.67 per hour starting rate
