Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor SOCOTEC, Southwest - Dorset/Bristol/Exeter/Swindon

As our company grows, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and committed Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our Asbestos Team. You will work efficiently as part of a team and independently, helping to ensure the safety of the buildings around us by identifying, monitoring and overseeing all things asbestos.

Responsibilities

• To undertake inspection and testing as authorised in competency matrix including one or more of the following:
• Management surveys
• Refurbishment surveys
• Demolition surveys
• Re-inspection for the purpose of asbestos management plans
• Airborne fibre counting
• Airborne fibre sampling
• Four stage clearance
• To record all inspection and test data and produce associated reports that will be subject to authorisation
• To be alert to business opportunities and promote the services of the business

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 or equivalent
• BOHS P403 and P404 or equivalent
• CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years experience carrying out the role
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Full UK driving licence
