Our Aerospace client

Based in the south of England, our client is seeking an Aerospace Jig and Tooling Design Engineer on a contract basis. Candidates will work on a variety of tooling design activities, covering both composite and metallic manufacturing and production tooling for wing structures, skins, ribs, control surfaces, etc.

This activity is scheduled for 1 year and could involve projects in both Defence and Civil aerospace sectors. Candidates must be prepared to undergo BPSS security clearance vetting.

• Proficiency in CATIA V5 CAD.
• Experience in aerospace tooling design.
• Knowledge of composite mould tools and assembly tooling.
• Good team working skills.

This role will be offered on a contract basis inside IR35 regulations and paid PAYE through Strongfield Consultants. The position requires onsite presence 4 days per week, with flexibility in working hours and overtime to accommodate weekly commuting needs.
