Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care, Doncaster Council

Pay Rate: Up to £32 UMB

Contract: Full-time | Initial 3-6 months with potential for extension

Doncaster Council is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured team. The role offers flexible working, a fair caseload, and professional development. This position is suitable for candidates seeking impact-driven work in adult social care and reablement services.

Responsibilities
  • Review care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment
  • Complete Care Act assessments
  • Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment
  • Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations
  • Undertake manual handling assessments
  • Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience
  • Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist
  • Manual handling expertise
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
