Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Band 6 Senior Practitioner (RMN/OT/Social Worker) to join the CAMHS ADHD Community Team in Kendal on a contract basis. The role involves promoting mental health among young people, conducting assessments, and enhancing partnerships with Adult Mental Health services. Applicants must have NMC qualification, be experienced in therapeutic interventions, and be willing to travel between locations. This full-time role offers a pay rate of £24.00 - £25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 6 Senior Practitioner (RMN/OT/Social Worker) to join the CAMHS ADHD Community Team in Kendal, Cumbria on a contract basis. This role will complement our existing ADHD pathway team of a Senior Practitioner and an assistant practitioner; an element of the role will be to support with supplementary prescribing. Car driver essential as is willingness to travel between our Barrow and Kendal base as required. This is a 3-6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.

Duties | Responsibilities
  • Promote and improve the mental health and well‑being of young people, their families and carers.
  • Perform skilled assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people, their families and carers.
  • Support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS and Adult Mental Health services.
  • Provide a high level of generic skills and competencies and work towards development of areas of clinical expertise within the field of ADHD complimenting other members of the team.

This is a Full‑Time position - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Pay rate: £24.00 - £25.00 per hour (depending on experience).
