Account Manager / Business Development Manager – Water Treatment, UK South, Salary £45-60k plus commission, car allowance, laptop, phone etc.

About the role

My client is a water treatment service provider, expanding its team. They are looking to add an experienced, hungry, and driven Account Manager / Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have a small patch but be expected to grow the business by winning cooling tower and steam boiler type work. You need to be currently working in this field or have experience in it and be able to operate a test kit in the field.

Focus

The client is happy to speak to anyone who wants to focus on pure Business Development. They do not want someone who will sell lots of “Water Hygiene” (risk assessment and sampling/temp checks).

Opportunity

The right person will have the opportunity to shape the company going forward as they develop the management team.

Requirements

• A full and clean driving licence is required.
• Current work in water treatment or relevant experience with cooling tower/steam boiler projects.
• Ability to operate a field test kit.
