Job summary
An international school in Lille is seeking an English-speaking Science Teacher to lead Science classes from middle school through high school. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a recognized teaching qualification. Responsibilities include designing engaging lessons and assessing student progress. English-speaking Science Teacher

You will join a dedicated team of educators committed to nurturing curiosity, academic rigor, and student well-being in a truly international environment.
- Teach Science across middle school (multidisciplinary), high school Physics/Chemistry, and IB Chemistry.
- Design engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized support.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary and innovative learning.
- Take part in the wider life of the school through meetings, projects, and extracurricular activities.
Native (or mother tongue) English speaker.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science.
Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, GTP, or equivalent).
Relevant classroom experience and strong communication skills.
- Experience with the IB Diploma Programme.
- Background in teaching secondary science.
- Familiarity with inquiry- or problem-based learning approaches.
- Some French language skills (helpful, but not required).
