A global multi-energy company in France is looking for an Entry-Level Reservoir Engineer to start a 12-month professional contract. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Geosciences and have a solid understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals. Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews and developing experimental setups. The successful candidate will receive internal training and an opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to the energy transition.
As an Entry-Level Reservoir Engineer (M/F), your responsibilities will include:
Conducting a comprehensive literature review on laboratory measurements of CO₂/brine flow properties (relative permeabilities, capillary pressures) and identifying sources of uncertainty affecting these measurements.
Contributing to the development of the microfluidic experimental setup designed to determine multiphase CO2/brine flow properties.
Validating experimental setups through measurement and interpretation of experimental flow data on reservoir rock (relative permeability and/or capillary pressure measurements).
Preparing a final report summarizing the literature review, developments, and validation measurements performed.

We are looking for a Reservoir Engineer – Entry Level (M/F) for a 12-month assignment starting in February 2026.
Do you have a solid understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals, petrophysics, and general mechanics?You will apply these skills in your daily activities.
Comfortable with IT tools?You will work with Linux, the Office suite, and programming languages such as Python.
Are curiosity, rigor, and perseverance among your strengths?These qualities will be essential to successfully carry out your projects.
Strong writing skills and professional proficiency in English will be indispensable for this position.
We offer a 12-month full-time Professionalization Contract, including a training component (technical, language, tools). These trainings are delivered internally by organizations selected by TotalEnergies. This contract will allow you to gain one year of professional experience while being trained in the specificities of your role in connection with the Company’s activities.
