A fast-growing startup in the crypto space is seeking a Social Media Manager to drive engagement on Twitter and other channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in Web3 and X/Ops, with a strong grasp of content production and community engagement strategies. This full-time position offers the possibility of remote work, with a focus on achieving measurable demand and building community trust.

Qualifications

Overview

Join a dynamic, fast-growing profitable startup backed by industry leaders GSR and Ledger, building cutting-edge crypto solutions for institutional clients and consumers. At Cede Labs, we are pioneering asset management tools for centralized exchanges (CEXs) like Binance and Coinbase, leveraging over 4 years of crypto exchange connectivity experience. We are a passionate team of 15, rapidly scaling our products. Our next milestone is to hit €1M monthly revenue within 6 months. We are in a critical growth phase and seeking an A player to help Cede Labs reach the next level. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Own Cede Hub’s presence on X/Twitter end‑to‑end, from strategy, voice, publishing, to community ops. Turn attention into measurable demand (views, click-throughs, sign-ups) and category leadership through threads, Spaces, partner co‑marketing, and reply‑engine operations.
  • X Communication Strategy: Define audience pillars (traders/reward hunters) and clients (issuers, exchanges, market makers). Set narrative arcs, content pillars (alpha & setups, campaign launches, proof‑of‑trade case studies, behind‑the‑scenes, memes), and posting cadence.
  • Content & Asset Production: Write top‑tier threads and posts; design visuals (graphics/carousels); produce short clips from Spaces, AMAs, and other sources; co‑create partner posts with clients, exchanges, and key opinion leaders.
  • Conversion‑Ready Surfaces: Ensure every post carries tracked UTMs, clear CTAs, and links to optimized landing pages; run A/B tests on hook, creative, format, and posting window.
  • Reply‑Engine & Community Ops: Lead our X reply squad to seed and sustain conversations under relevant KOLs/hashtags; triage DMs (support, bugs, feature requests) and route to owners.
  • Credibility and Trust Building: Highlight our backers and traction; publish client and user success stories with numbers; share trader and partner spotlights/leadership.
  • Events & Spaces Hosting: Host routine X Spaces with partners/KOLs; secure guest slots in aligned communities’ spaces; recap learnings with clear CTAs.
Outcomes
  • Demand from X: followers, impressions, engagement, click‑through rate, sign‑ups.
  • Share of voice and share of mind on X: impressions, mentions, reposts/quotes from quality accounts.
  • Cadence & quality: maintain a consistent post/response cadence with crisp messaging, on‑brand visuals, and straightforward CTAs with UTMs.
Requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Web3 knowledge: understanding of CEX/DEX mechanics, issuer goals, trader incentives, and market‑maker context.
  • X/Ops experience: 2–3+ years running high‑growth and high‑engagement X accounts (crypto/fintech preferred); portfolio of threads/posts with measurable outcomes; comfortable hosting Spaces.
  • Content craft: excellent short‑form writing, good visual design (Figma/Canva), basic short‑form video editing.
  • Data analytics: UTMs, X analytics, and Mixpanel.
  • Communication: calm, clear, concise, and persuasive in writing and live events; able to use Discord for internal comms and routing follower inquiries.
  • Ownership & collaboration: organized, deadline‑driven, able to coordinate partners and internal stakeholders across time zones; some weekend availability.
  • Language: fluent English (written & verbal).

  • Multilingual for regional pushes.

Recruitment Process
  • First Interview with Head of Growth and Marketing to get acquainted and ensure values alignment.
  • Second Interview with Head of Growth and Marketing to assess Web3 knowledge and product/Go-To-Market understanding.
  • Assessment Test (48 hours) to evaluate X strategy and execution, reasoning, and work style.
  • Third Interview with other team members to get to know each other.
  • Final Interview to provide feedback and address questions.
