Designing intuitive, ergonomic, and adaptive user interfaces focused on usability and responsiveness

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Usability & UI Designer to create user-centric, ergonomic, and responsive digital interfaces that provide seamless experiences across devices. The role focuses on applying usability principles, ergonomics, and responsive design techniques to optimize user interaction and satisfaction.

This role will collaborate with product owners, developers, and UX researchers to deliver accessible and adaptive UI solutions that align with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

Usability & Ergonomics

• Conduct usability assessments and heuristic evaluations to identify design improvements
• Apply ergonomic principles to UI design ensuring ease of use and reducing user fatigue
• Develop personas, user flows, and wireframes grounded in usability research

User Interface Design

• Design clean, clear, and consistent UI components aligned with brand guidelines
• Create interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups for user testing and development handoff
• Ensure designs address accessibility standards and promote inclusive user experiences

Responsive & Adaptive Design

• Design interfaces that dynamically adapt across a range of devices and screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of responsive designs
• Optimize UI elements for performance and usability on all platforms
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX researchers, developers, and product managers
• Incorporate user feedback and analytics data to iteratively refine and improve designs
• Document design decisions and maintain up-to-date design system components

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in usability-focused UI design with demonstrated responsive design projects
• Strong skills in design and prototyping tools like Figma , Adobe XD , Sketch , or equivalent
• Deep understanding of usability heuristics, ergonomic design principles, and responsive web standards
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present design rationale and user benefits clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field
• Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and testing tools
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
