Your Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain professional in Singapore, your responsibilities include:

  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
  • Ensure all duties align with quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies;
  • Manage vessel needs for assigned goods & services portfolio;
  • Ensure timely ordering of daily requisitions;
  • Process approvals for quotations and offers received to place orders;
  • Ensure delivery on time through the logistics chain from supplier to vessel;
  • Apply best practices defined by group procurement; prepare and send inquiries to relevant suppliers;
  • Analyze supplier offers and select the best according to procurement policy;
  • Monitor order availability at supplier premises;
  • Follow shipments through the logistics chain from supplier to warehouse, and to shipyard/vessel; arrange backorders if necessary;
  • Follow up on problematic invoices (PI) for a better 3-way match between PO, invoice, and goods receipt.
Your Profile
  • Degree in supply chain or related field;
  • At least 2 years of supply chain experience;
  • Knowledge of technical shipping management is a plus;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Good English communication skills (B2 or higher);
  • Basic technical knowledge of vessels.
