Role Overview : Sourcing Manager
The Sourcing Manager will drive strategic procurement, supplier management, and sourcing excellence across the EMEIA–APAC region.
This role blends strategic leadership , hands‑on sourcing , and team management . You will shape supplier portfolios, optimize costs, secure supply continuity, and support innovation across a global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, audits, contracts, and compliance.
- Develop and optimize supplier portfolios; identify alternative sourcing options.
- Lead product and supplier research to ensure the highest quality and reliability.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in sourcing and quality performance.
- Collaborate with Quality teams on root‑cause analysis and quality issue resolution.
- Proactively manage shortages and implement risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure database accuracy and reliability across all sourcing activities.
- Optimize internal and external material flows; implement improvement initiatives.
- Maintain sourcing standards, policies, and compliance across the team.
- Track market innovations and emerging technologies relevant to GSE components.
- Team Management
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members within the sourcing function.
- Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and support employee growth.
- Foster a positive, high‑performance team culture.
- Coordinate with HR on disciplinary actions and ensure proper documentation.
- Budget & Planning
- Contribute to annual budget planning and identify investment needs.
- Maintain strong cost control and support inventory management processes.
Requirements
- Must‑Have
- Professional fluency in French and English (spoken & written).
- Master’s degree / Engineering degree in purchasing, supply chain, or technical field.
- 5+ years of sourcing experience in an international environment.
- Proven expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
- Experience leading teams and developing people.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel / Word.

- Experience in aviation, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or technical sectors.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
