Overview

Job : Service Engineer / Customer Support Engineer

Location : Near Orléans, France

We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to support laboratory instrumentation at client sites. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and qualification of multi-vendor equipment. You’ll be the technical expert ensuring optimal performance, delivering tailored training and driving customer satisfaction through precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and qualify laboratory instruments (HPLC / GC, centrifuges, dissolution testers, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair multi-vendor equipment
  • Perform software and hardware updates
  • Document interventions in line with quality standards
  • Deliver technical training and usage optimization advice
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and environments
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to deliver technical training
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office

Independent / Sole Proprietor set up is preferred but other engagement methods are possible.
