A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Records Management Specialist in France. The role involves developing and maintaining records management policies, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing both electronic and paper records. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in technical library management and possess strong organizational skills. Qualifications

Who You Are

You’re an organized and resourceful Technical Librarian with a passion for managing information and supporting research needs. With expertise in cataloging, curating, and maintaining technical documents and resources, you excel at ensuring that critical information is easily accessible and up‑to‑date. Your strong attention to detail, familiarity with library management systems, and ability to organize complex information make you a key resource in fostering knowledge and innovation. At KBR, you bring a blend of technical expertise and a service‑oriented mindset to support teams in their pursuit of excellence. The Records Management Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective records and information management program in compliance with federal laws, regulations, and agency policies. This position ensures proper creation, maintenance, use, and disposition of records throughout their lifecycle, including electronic and paper formats.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain records management policies, procedures, and schedules in accordance with the Federal Records Act and NARA guidelines.
  • Conduct records inventories and appraisals; identify records requiring retention or disposition.
  • Coordinate with program office to implement retention schedules and ensure compliance.
  • Manage electronic records systems, including applying retention labels and monitoring disposition.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on records management practices and legal requirements.
  • Monitor compliance through audits and reporting; recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Must be a US or Australian Citizen.
  • Must possess a US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a technical library or similar resources.
  • Strong organizational and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Decision‑Making Ability: Strong decision‑making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%. This position is contingent upon contract award.
