The position

As a Senior Product Manager at Remote, you’ll develop and guide our strategy for one of our key product areas. You’ll advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to identify problems and shape iterative solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Build solutions with the team that solve for payroll, benefits, and other Remote services
    • Own end-to-end experience: value delivered through services powered by both humans and software
    • Lead on solutions with senior product team involvement; work autonomously on simple features and iterations
    • Manage internal expectations for projects, products, and features
    • Contribute to tactical and strategic decisions for the business area
    • Collaborate with senior product team members to shape cross-department solutions
  • Develop an effective product-area roadmap
    • Collaborate on long-term strategic plans
    • Form a near-term strategic vision using market research and inputs
    • Be the subject-matter expert for the product area
    • Contribute to scaling and growth plans
  • Ship improvements iteratively
    • Lead a product team delivering consistent throughput and ROI
    • Align work to key business KPIs
    • Work with engineers, designers and stakeholders to solve customer problems
  • Communicate and collaborate internally and externally
    • Share techniques, processes, and learnings
    • Promote the team’s work and its impact to customers and internal teams
    • Work asynchronously and transparently
    • Operate with autonomy on simple features and iterations
    • Develop into a PM with deep understanding of complex business problems
