We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious researcher to join our young team “RNA viruses and host factors” led by Karim Majzoub, at the "Institut de Génétique Moléculaire de Montpellier” (France). The candidate will work under the direct supervision of Karim Majzoub on a project focused on Deltaviruses, a family of viruses discovered recently in several animal species, whose human representative is Hepatitis Delta virus. This project, funded by the ATIP-AVENIR grant (CNRS/INSERM), is part of an international scientific collaboration with researchers from Harvard University (USA) and Helsinki University (Finland).
The applicant will benefit from a highly collaborative and international environment. The host team is part of IGMM, a research center dedicated to study molecular genetics. IGMM provides access to state-of-the art platforms and technical support. The institute is located in the beautiful city of Montpellier, in the south of France.
