Description

Avista is a progressive organisation, providing a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in various locations across 3 Regions. The Children and Young People’s Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. This post is being recruited for our three Children’s Disability Network Teams: Blakestown, Blanchardstown and Cabra.

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST MANAGER

TEMPORARY (12 MONTHS) FULL -TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week).

CHILDREN’S SERVICES, DUBLIN

Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Current registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in occupational therapy, with significant pediatric/children’s disability experience
  • Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
  • Strong knowledge of children’s disability services and multidisciplinary team working
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.

  • Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to children’s disability services
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
