Overview

Position Overview: The Marketing Officer – France will be based in Paris and will report directly to the Head of Marketing – Spain & France. This is an entry-level marketing executive role for a creative, organised, and ambitious professional who can combine local market insight with a global outlook. Your knowledge of France’s culture, language, and trends will help shape how we position our programmes for international audiences — including France Domestic, Europe, and Rest of the World.

You will work closely with central marketing teams in France, Spain, the UK, India, and Germany, who will support in delivering large-scale campaigns. You’ll still be hands-on with many tasks — particularly content creation, local events, and student engagement — but you’ll always have international colleagues and specialist teams to collaborate with.

About BSBI: BSBI is expanding its presence in France with a campus in Paris, delivering master’s degrees in collaboration with partners and programmes validated by UCA, giving students the opportunity to earn both French and UK qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • 1. French Market Insight & Content Creation
    • Use local market knowledge to adapt global campaigns for international audiences.
    • Produce engaging French-language and English-language content for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and video.
    • Capture testimonials, campus life photos, and event footage; coordinate with external providers where needed.
    • Build and maintain a content asset library (photos, videos, testimonials, graphics) for global use.
    • Act as the on-the-ground marketing presence at open days, recruitment fairs, and campus events.
  • 2. Lead Generation & Recruitment Support
    • Contribute to campaigns targeting France Domestic, Europe, and Rest of the World recruitment markets.
    • Support the recruitment team by ensuring marketing activities drive qualified leads and align with enrolment goals.
    • Track campaign performance and share feedback with central teams for optimisation.
  • 3. Campaign Planning & Execution
    • Work with the Head of Marketing – Spain & France and central teams in the UK, India, and Germany to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Provide local insights and feedback to help ensure campaigns resonate internationally.
    • Coordinate the production, translation, and distribution of marketing materials.
  • 4. Collaboration & Brand Consistency
    • Maintain BSBI brand guidelines in all French-language and English-language materials.
    • Collaborate with design, PR, SEO, and social media teams to integrate Paris campus activities into wider campaigns.
    • Partner with academics to help position programmes effectively for multiple global markets.
  • 5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Monitor analytics for social media, email, and campaign activity; prepare regular performance updates.
    • Suggest creative approaches to content, events, and digital engagement based on audience feedback and trends.
    • Stay informed on competitor activities and relevant market developments.
Profile

Qualifications / Education

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Knowledge / Skills

  • Native French with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluent English (additional languages a plus).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills in French.
  • Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Comfortable with basic video / photo editing tools or working with external providers.
  • Organized, adaptable, and collaborative.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year in a marketing-related role (internships included).
  • Experience in content creation, community management, or event participation.
  • Understanding of international audiences or recruitment marketing is desirable.
  • CRM and analytics platform knowledge is a plus.
