This is a remote position based in France.

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible of planning and executing Suunto marketing activities locally in FRANCE-BENELUX regions, based on Suunto’s global marketing strategy. This is a great opportunity for someone, who wants to work in an international, fast changing, and challenging technology environment close to the markets and to build Suunto brand even further. In this position you will have key role in building the Suunto brand and activate key marketing initiatives with selected customers in retail & etail. You are the one securing excellent Suunto product launches and marketing activities throughout the year. You will contribute with your expertise in defining local marketing toolbox requirements.

Key activities for the role are:

  • Creating the yearly marketing plan/ launch plans, Seasonal Campaigns based on global marketing strategy and guidance, to achieve the global marketing and sales ambitions
  • Close collaboration with the trade marketing specialist to implement and follow up of the marketing plans across sales channels
  • Close collaboration with the trade marketing specialist to secure high quality execution of planned marketing activities with selected local top retailers ensuring sales plan delivery, driving in-store excellence and sell-through
  • Develop and deliver toolkits, content and assets to ensure consistency and quality of end-consumers experience
  • Manage and establish strong relationships with external vendors - ie. PR agency, media, agencies, AO- to deliver strong results
  • Responsible for local end-consumer event initiatives, planning, coordination, execution and reporting
  • Manage and establish strong relationship with local Ambassadors, Athletes, Partners, and Communities to build a strong network supporting the brand awareness & credibility growth ambition
  • Reporting, providing progress updates of marketing key initiatives vs. agreed KPIs, suggest optimization, innovative ideas and ways of working
  • Responsible for the local Marketing budget and follow up

To succeed in this role:

As a Regional Marketing Manager, you combine strategic vision with a deep understanding of the market dynamics in your region.

You translate global sales and marketing strategies into locally relevant plans, ensuring alignment while adapting to regional customer and consumer needs as well as the competitive landscape. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills enable you to coordinate effectively with sales, product, internal marketing teams, and external partners to drive impactful execution and results.

You leverage data and stakeholder feedback to optimize campaigns, manage budgets, and identify growth opportunities, while remaining agile in responding to regional trends and challenges.

Qualities we are looking for:

  • University degree in marketing or other relevant qualification
  • 5 years of experience in executing marketing initiatives and brand management
  • Experience in consumer goods business, sports and/or technology experience a plus
  • Experience in working in international matrix organizations is a plus
  • Strong marketing skills with a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, project management, communication, and innovation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Sales oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in French at a native leveland fluency in English (Company language is English)
  • Self-organized working style, ability to cope with changes
  • Ownership, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong team spirit
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel domestic and abroad
