Key tasks
  • Operational activities include internal & external promotion (promotional material, trainings, events, customer meetings,…), opportunity tracking / reviewing with Sales / Regions, competitor and order tracking (reference list, market shares), guiding in pre-tendering and tendering phase towards the most profitable solution, supporting market and tender pricing
  • Strategic activities include developing a comprehensive view of the market and its segments (market trends, customer buying criteria, competitor analysis and behaviour), aggregate opportunity, project, product and regulatory information to define product and feature strategies, priorities and funding, to support the preparation of the Platform’s vision, roadmap and portfolio evolution
Profile
  • Degree in Engineering or Commercial degree
  • Experience in a technical-commercial environment, e.g. marketing, product management, sales, etc. with investment goods, preferably electro-mechanical machines and preferably rolling stock
  • Understanding of governance and internal process working environment (tender, Platform, opportunity reviews, etc)
  • Experience of collaborative management, facilitating teamwork
  • Well organized with capacity to synthetize clear presentations to the Top Management, the Platforms & Sales teams
  • Ability to align stakeholders and to influence in a complex environment
  • Results, market and data / facts driven
  • Willingness to learn and understand the operational, technical and commercial needs of our customers and the technical aspects of the products
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with efficiency, collaborative spirit
  • Develop and maintain a strong internal and external network
  • Comfortable with MS Office
  • Fluent in English – good level of French or German is a plus
