Role

Join Qonto's dynamic Legal team as a Legal Intern (Fintech) for a 6-month internship (starting date: July 2026), where you'll dive into the cutting-edge world of fintech law. You'll work alongside our Head of Legal (Product & AI) to tackle diverse legal challenges in product development and emerging regulations. Your contributions will directly impact Qonto's growth and innovation in the European fintech landscape.

As a Legal Intern (Product & AI) at Qonto, you will

  • Contract Negotiation & Drafting: Assist in negotiating and drafting contracts for new Qonto products, ensuring legal compliance for the launch of new features across payment and financial tool platforms.
  • Fintech Legal expertise: Conduct banking law analysis and assess how they apply to Qonto products and features, and draft customer contracts for them.
  • AI Regulatory Expertise: Analyze and apply emerging AI regulations such as the EU AI Act, ensuring Qonto's AI implementations comply with transparency, fairness, and accountability requirements.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure legal compliance while supporting business objectives (especially Regulatory, Product, Strategy, and Growth).
  • Proactive Legal Management: Contribute to the team's proactive approach in addressing legal priorities efficiently.

About You
  • Education: You have a Master 2 Degree in French Business law and/or you have passed the bar exam and are looking for your PPI internship
  • Experience: You have previous internship or work experience in tech, fintech, or banking sectors
  • Skills: Strong contract negotiation and drafting abilities
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with banking, payments, and data protection regulations
  • Attributes: Proactive, curious, and business-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Languages: You are fluent in both French and English. Mastery of another European language is a definite plus
