What is our ambition?
We believe that any network of retail locations aiming to improve the customer experience must engage both head office and in-store teams through a digital tool. Yet none of the major global software providers (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft, Oracle...) currently make this possible.
Our ambition is to become the world's first "Local Collaboration Platform", used by retail networks to engage their teams and enhance the customer experience both online and in-store.
This will be made possible by a strong focus on three key pillars :
TEAM
At Partoo, our Tech team has 75 people, divided into 'Engineering' and 'Product'. We work in Tribes and Impact Teams, currently we have 4 Tribes and 10 Impact Teams.
Each Tribe is led by an Engineering Manager and a Lead Product Manager, and focuses on a specific aspect or axis of our product: Visibility, Interactions, Empowering, and Core.
In each Tribe, there are Impact Teams focusing on a specific product or a part of it. Our Feature Teams, are mixed of designers, product experts, and engineers, they deploy features in an agile and continuous way. They follow the SCRUM method with 2-week sprints.
We believe in helping our employees grow: when you join us, you'll have a meet with a coach every week. They'll support you either in developing technical expertise or management abilities.
We are currently hiring two Lead Developers for two different teams. Below, you'll find descriptions of both teams and the profiles we're looking for. If you have a preference for one team over the other, please let us know and explain why in your application. The interview process will also help us determine the best fit between your profile and the teams.
1. The BirdPerson team has a strong backend orientation. One of its core responsibilities is the diffusion of our customer's data on the various platforms we manage (Google, Apple, Waze, ...), which constitutes the main product of Partoo, the Presence Management. The main challenges will be working and structuring a complex architecture that interfaces with multiple external APIs (Google, Facebook, Bing, etc). If you like building robust systems, this team is for you.
2. The Meenie team is balanced between backend and frontend. Its main goal is to improve Partoo's internal teams' efficiency, by either building internal admin tools that facilitate the job of our Customer teams, or by giving more autonomy to Partoo's customers so they can set up and operate the service without the need of the Customer team intervening. If you like that your work directly helps your colleagues, this team is for you.
