General description:

BeOne Medicines is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the pharmaceutical sector, dedicated to the research, development, and distribution of innovative medicines. We are seeking a Key Account Manager for the Bourgogne Franche Comté region to join our team. Departments of responsibility: 25, 21, 10, 70, 71 and 77.

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will report directly to the Associate Director, Regional Field Manager, France South and will be responsible for:

Providing promotional and non‑promotional information, in strict compliance with marketing authorizations, to all professionals authorized to prescribe, dispense and use medicines in the sector to which they are assigned.

Maintaining a professional relationship with these professionals, with the aim of promoting products and their correct use, in compliance with internal ethical and compliance rules, pharmaceutical regulations and the strategy determined by the company.

They define and manage their sector action plan based on the marketing strategy and regional objectives. Finally, the KAM participates in the development of projects around the medicines promoted, in compliance with the regulations in effect.

Essential functions of the job:

In the performance of his duties, the Employee is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Preparing, organizing and leading professional communication actions linked to the promotion of its drugs: professional meetings, congresses, etc.
  • Build up the BeOne image/brand and raise awareness of our company and our products in the hematology market in the sector to which he/she is assigned.
  • Informing and responding to requests from healthcare professionals about drugs in strict compliance with the marketing authorization (regulatory, pharmaco‑therapeutic and medicoeconomic aspects relating to the drugs presented), and about their environment.
  • Organize promotional visits (face‑to‑face or remote) in accordance with the targeting determined by the company, the organizational rules laid down by the healthcare professionals met, the internal structures and the healthcare establishments (where applicable) and comply with all the ethical rules described in the Promotional Information Charter.
  • Obtain the consent of the healthcare professionals prior to accompanied visits and remote visits.

Ensuring the correct use of promoted products:

  • Systematically offering to inform healthcare professionals about adverse effects, drug interactions, conditions of use and treatment monitoring.
  • Systematically offering to provide healthcare professionals with the mandatory documents on the positive list and ensuring that obsolete documents are not used.
  • Reporting pharmacovigilance cases on time.
  • Ensuring that Risk Minimization Plans are implemented (where applicable). For each visit:
  • Prepare the visit in advance to adapt it to the needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Record visit reports in the common database within the allotted timeframe, in order to enhance customer knowledge.
  • Plan actions following the interview, with the relevant contacts, in order to meet the commitments made.
  • Analyzing the results of your sector (activity and customer satisfaction) and adapting your activity. Regularly monitor visits in line with the sector action plan.
  • Ensure regular monitoring of activity and daily administrative follow‑up.
  • Receive annual training in the products they promote, to maintain their level of scientific expertise.
  • Commit to speak with healthcare professionals in a dedicated sequence, separate from the medical and scientific information provided by the medical teams.

Design and manage the sector action plan based on regional objectives:

  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders in its sector and map the relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement robust regional plans in a cross‑functional way. The aim is to develop customized regional stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan, identify, analyze and implement activities and meetings to maximize regional potential.

Develop drug‑related projects:

  • Contribute to and ensure the proper implementation of cross‑functional environmental projects (non‑promotional), coordinating with other players as required.
  • Working with partners in the healthcare system and healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the care pathway to support them in providing the best care for patients.
  • Ensuring regular reporting on the competitive intelligence created from its activity in the field or its research on the Web.
  • Share best practice internally (at head office and with the sales forces) to provide the best possible response to the needs of healthcare professionals.

Compliance with applicable regulations:

  • In compliance with BeOne’s procedures, report to the company without delay any adverse reaction, quality complaint or off‑label use of which he/she is aware.
  • With the exception of his regulatory obligations, strictly respect the professional secrecy towards patients and do not reveal anything seen or heard in the places where the activity is performed.
  • In accordance with BeOne’s guidelines, comply with the rules relating to the benefits offered by persons manufacturing or marketing health products and with the rules relating to the management of personal data.
  • Respect of any applicable local laws and regulations like the French health law and the Reps Charter (and applicable Referential).
  • Respect the applicable Company values and procedures, and especially the deontologic rules and compliance rules.
  • Regularly attend and succeed regulatory, products and disease trainings.

Education & experience required:
  • Diploma/Title or equivalent qualification (VAE, authorization to practice) to obtain the mandatory professional card (VM or APM).
  • Professional science degree preferred.
  • French native, English fluent.

  • Proficiency in all Office program, Outlook and using CRM Other.
