Within the Laboratoire Albert Fert , we investigate the magnetic properties from various perspectives, ranging from fundamental to applied physics, and by connecting several scientific disciplines. In the recent period, we developed various research activities in developing novel ferro- and ferri-magnetic oxides for future ICT devices.
The main objective of the post‑doc will first be to develop by pulse laser deposition new types of ultra‑thin magnetic films. The growth will be performed either by PLD or off‑axis sputtering. Structural characterizations including X‑ray diffraction, reciprocal space mapping, AFM will be conducted as well as optical characterization such as Faraday effect and device fabrication and testing.
The project will take place at Laboratoire Albert Fert
