Overview

Freelance Medical Copywriter (France) – Freelance, Full-time (5 days per week) initial contract until December 2025. Hybrid – 3 days per week in our client’s Paris office. Language requirements: French native and business English a bonus.

What you’ll do
  • Scope - The primary responsibility for this role is to develop and update copy for various pharmaceutical commercial assets, with an added focus on omnichannel digital implementation.
  • Writing standards - Adhere to the local MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) standard and facilitate the client’s internal approval process. Follow best practices for commercial medical writing.
  • Asset types covered - Commercial assets ranging from print such as posters, slide kits, leaflets; to digital, such as emails, IVAs (Interactive Visual Aids), websites, etc.
  • Stakeholder management - Collaborate with stakeholders involved in developing end-to-end assets, including the client’s Creative and digital production teams, and additional stakeholders such as the Program Manager, Content Delivery Manager (Project Manager), and the brand team as required.
  • AI usage - Be open to use the proprietary and approved AI tools used by our client.
  • Timeline adherence - Comply with timelines finalized and agreed during the task initiation phase.
About you
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in promotional content development for the pharma industry (pharma marketing / health care advertising or sales / copywriting).
  • A degree / diploma in health science (medicine / pharma / biology / biosciences) AND/OR a degree / diploma in communications with experience in pharma promotional marketing. Any additional marketing degree / certification / diploma is a plus.
  • Experience with print and digital assets in pharma marketing.
