Description du poste
Responsibilities
1. Process Definition & Execution (Invoicing & Weight Management)

Strategic Alignment : Lead discussions with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sourcing, Finance, Production, Quality) to define and standardize the company's approach to precious metal weight. This includes:

  • Establishing a clear, documented standard weight definition that aligns with industry best practices and our operational needs.
  • Defining acceptable tolerances for weight discrepancies between supplier shipments and our internal measurements.
  • Developing and implementing a robust methodology for monitoring real weight at every stage from receipt to consumption.

Supplier Recovery Protocols : Develop and implement clear protocols for addressing and recovering losses incurred due to supplier deviations from agreed-upon weight specifications. This includes managing claims, returns, and credit notes.

Invoicing Switch Management : Oversee the complete transition to real-weight invoicing with all precious metal suppliers, including input for sourcing teams for renegotiations and system adjustments.

2. Purchase Price Variance (PPV) Management

Variance Analysis : Establish and manage a comprehensive PPV tracking system specifically for precious metals. Analyse variances stemming from weight discrepancies (real vs. standard) and price fluctuations.

Cost Optimization : Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and recovery through diligent PPV analysis and collaboration with sourcing teams.

Reporting : Generate detailed PPV reports to highlight financial impacts and inform strategic sourcing decisions.

3. Tools & Monitoring (Data Analytics & Reporting)

Report Development : Design, develop, and implement analytical reports and dashboards to provide granular insights into precious metal weight data. Key reports will monitor: Weight Data Distribution, Supplier Performance & Material Yields.

Performance Animation : Lead and animate internal cross-functional follow-up meetings to review key metrics, provide visibility to savings achievements, discuss open projects related to weight optimization, and address supplier deviations. This role will be the central point for communicating progress and driving continuous improvement.

System Integration : Collaborate with IT/Systems teams to ensure seamless integration of weight measurement data into our ERP or inventory management systems.
