Business Development Manager – Southern/Western Europe (Remote)
Location: France | Remote, Travel: 40–70%
Genoskin is a fast-growing biotech company developing ethical, human-relevant preclinical models to support drug discovery and development. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth, expand strategic partnerships, and strengthen long-term client relationships across Pharma and Biotech.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Promote Genoskin’s vision, mission, and scientific solutions
- Drive sales of Genoskin’s services and products within an assigned territory
- Identify, engage, and onboard new clients and partners
- Expand existing accounts across R&D, study teams, procurement, and executive stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposals, contract negotiation, and closing
- Work closely with internal commercial, scientific, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
Client Engagement & Scientific Support
- Respond to inbound leads and proactively convert opportunities into sales
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and scientific discussions
- Provide technical and scientific insights on Genoskin’s product portfolio (with internal experts)
- Prepare proposals, study plans, and quotes; negotiate commercial terms in line with company guidelines
- Ensure timely follow-up and high customer satisfaction
Market Presence & Strategy
- Identify new market opportunities through technology and competitive research
- Represent Genoskin at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Maintain strong technical knowledge to create value-driven client discussions
- Support territory strategy, pipeline development, and sales forecasting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Share customer feedback and market intelligence with Marketing, R&D, and Operations
- Coordinate closely with Project Management and Operations from proposal to data delivery
- Partner with marketing teams on trade shows, events, and commercial initiatives
🧠 Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotech, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in scientific sales or business development (CRO or Biotech)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills in English
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles autonomously
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- EU work authorization and willingness to travel extensively (40–70%)
Preferred
- Background in dermatology, immunology, or pharmacology
- Experience with human tissue-based products or preclinical research tools
- Understanding of Pharma/Biotech drug discovery processes
- Experience in a scale-up or start-up environment
- Established professional network in the industry
