THE ROLE
As an Accountancy Practice Client Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, supporting them with a wide range of accounting and tax matters. This pivotal position offers strong progression prospects and the chance to play a key role in mentoring junior team members and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and providing day-to-day support.
- Deliver technical advice and guidance across accounting and taxation issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Review accounts and tax returns prepared by junior staff to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop their professional skills.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client services through business development, cross-selling, and advisory work.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on tax planning and advisory projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent).
- Prior experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with accounting software and digital tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
