The opportunity
The Account Executive will join the client’s expanding European commercial team and take ownership of the French-speaking markets within the EU . This role is ideal for a commercial NGS specialist who enjoys building markets, engaging with scientific stakeholders, and selling complex genomics and sequencing-based solutions .
Key responsibilities
- Develop brand awareness and market presence for NGS-based diagnostic solutions in an emerging genomics market
- Manage the full B2B sales cycle with clinical, hospital, and research laboratories , including :
- Scientific and technical product demonstrations focused on NGS workflows
- Commercial negotiations and contract management
- Closing complex, consultative sales
- Engage with key stakeholders such as molecular pathologists, geneticists, laboratory directors, and NGS specialists
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with laboratories running or implementing NGS and molecular diagnostics platforms
- Act as the primary commercial contact for customers across French-speaking European territories
- Collaborate closely with applications, scientific, and marketing teams to support complex NGS sales cycles
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance, and learning-oriented commercial culture

Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have :
- 3+ years of B2B commercial experience selling NGS, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or sequencing-related solutions
- Hands-on exposure to Next-Generation Sequencing technologies , workflows, or platforms
- (e.g. Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Oxford Nanopore, PacBio or equivalent)
- Experience selling to or working with clinical, hospital, or molecular pathology laboratories
- Strong understanding of NGS-based assays, bioinformatics pipelines, or molecular workflows
- Fluency in French and English
- A consultative, scientific sales approach with the ability to engage highly technical stakeholders
- A self-starter mindset with a proven track record of closing complex, long sales cycles
- Strong discipline in pipeline management and opportunity follow-through
- High resilience, learning agility, and adaptability in a fast-growing environment
