The EMEA Edu Marketing Vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive marketing coordination support for the client's education marketing initiatives in EMEA, with a focus on Spain & Italy. This role involves a balanced focus on scaled online webinars and in-person events, requiring strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. The vendor will work closely with the supplier agencies and the client's cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and measurement of marketing activities aimed at driving upsell and renewals across current clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

Scaled Online Webinars Marketing Coordination Support (70%) :

  • Overall Project Management, Global Coordination and Partner Management :
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration : Coordinate with the North America and APAC marketing teams for globally led sessions.
  • Content Quality Assurance : Ensure content developed by external PD partners aligns with client narratives, products, and demos, and that presenter qualications are appropriate.
  • Speaker Coordination : Manage internal and external speaker communication and logistics.
  • Content Output Management : Oversee the creation and distribution of session decks and one-pagers.
  • Branding Compliance : Ensure content developed by the client's cross-functional teams adheres to branding guidelines, involving the creative marketing agency when necessary.
  • Communication Strategy : Develop and execute timely and tailored communication plans (landing pages, promotional emails, social media posts, automatic reminders) for various audiences, including strategies to engage unresponsive segments.
  • Language Validation : Follow up with native speakers to validate messaging accuracy in relevant languages.
  • Internal Engagement
  • Playbook Development & cross functional team engagement : Produce a playbook with promotion assets for wider Google for education EMEA cross functional team (sales, channel sales, engineering and digital transformation). Keep updated and engage the EMEA cross functional teams on upcoming webinars and design internal promotion (e.g. gamication, leaderboard) activities to ensure promotion.
  • Tracking Implementation : Ensure correct tracking mechanisms are in place to measure the performance of channels driving registrations.
  • Lead & Engagement Measurement and Performance Reporting

Field Marketing campaigns in EMEA - focus on Spain, Italy and MENA (30%) :

  • End-to-End Management : Manage all aspects of the campaign. E.g. brief master of ceremonies in an in-person event production.
  • Agency Sourcing & Onboarding : Identify and onboard suitable event agency partners (regional or local).
  • Amplication, Communication & Registration : Create invitations, event-related communications, and event registration websites using the client's owned tools. Coordinate with relevant third party publications to promote the campaign (event, articles or other)
  • Agenda Development : Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design campaign or event agendas.
  • Content Development Support
  • Performance Tracking and Feedback Collection

Requirements

  • Exceptional atention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across dierent cultures and time zones. Ability to say no to asks from the cross functional team.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify challenges and propose solutions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and exibility to respond to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices for online events and communication.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (familiarity with Google's marketing tools is a plus).
  • Experience in the education or technology sector is advantageous.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) plus Spanish or Italian
  • Candidates who speak additional European languages or Arabic would be prioritised.

Other requirements

  • Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate meetings across dierent time zones.
  • Access to reliable internet connection and necessary equipment for remote work.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within EMEA for in-person events, if required (this will be communicated in advance) and travel expenses would be paid separately.
  • Full time position (39h per week, Monday to Friday)
