Ancillaries Senior Business Analyst - (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Ancillaries Senior Business Analyst to join our Ancillaries team in Barcelona. You will play a pivotal role in transforming the business and collaborating with a diverse group of team members who share your passion for using data to drive business outcomes. The role covers areas such as Revenue Management and Pricing, Competition Insights, People and Prime.

The Role\'s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Execute key analyses and serve as the data entry point for the business team, including owning the database from the business side.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and develop dashboards that provide insights.
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and inform business decisions.
• Understand business needs and elaborate business cases to support strategic product decisions.
• Contribute to the delivery of internal projects, providing business-side support to ensure progress and effective delivery of outcomes.
• Collaborate with different teams in project execution, providing analytical and business support.
• Master internal Business Intelligence tools to monitor and track KPIs; work with data engineering and data science teams to leverage internal data.

Good to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Experience in a role with a strong analytical component.
• Strong knowledge of SQL & Python, database experience with large data sets; experience with Looker Studio is valued.
• Advanced Office skills and experience with analytical tools, preferably Google toolset (spreadsheets, Google Docs, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, fast learner, high attention to detail, focused on results and productivity.
• Self-starter and team player who also enjoys having fun.
• Business Proficiency in English.
• Nice to have: Experience in the travel industry.
• Nice to have: Experience working with Ancillary data/functions.

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini or other AI-powered assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into workflows.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to leverage AI tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
