What Can You Expect?

As a Solution Architect you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and evolve solution architectures for core Commercial Insurance and accumulation management platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Drive simplification and modernization of the application landscape, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cloud-readiness.
• Support the development of reusable architecture patterns and reference models across CI domains (e.g., Group Accumulation Management, Underwriting, Claims, Integration).
• Act as a technical advisor during vendor evaluations and solution assessments.

What Makes You a great Fit?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology with 5 or more years of experience
• Proven track record of successful solution architecture projects, demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes, ideally in Commercial Insurance.
• Proven experience designing solutions in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud, especially Azure) with the current .NET stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core)
• Confidence with the Azure PaaS stack (related AWS knowledge is a plus)
• Strong familiarity with integration patterns, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience designing data-centric solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance – along with related technology stack; a solid understanding of data platforms (e.g. Databricks) and modern data architecture patterns are a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Team player able to work in a collaborative and multi-cultural environment with parts of the team spread across multiple locations
• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including teams outside of shared services and solutions.
• Ability to discuss technical topics in business terms, including but not limited to give presentations to an audience with different level of technological maturity.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers by having a holistic view of the different alternatives that would provide a solution to them.
• Ability to think outside of the box and be innovative by keeping abreast of new trends, identifying opportunities to bring in change for business benefit.
