A leading company in food ingredients is seeking a Technical Sales Manager based in Madrid or Barcelona. The role involves managing customer relationships, analyzing market trends and overseeing business expansion within the food industry. Candidates should have relevant experience and possess excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Formación

  • At least 5 years sales experience of Food Ingredients.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Valid driving license.

Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry

  • area Spain
  • the position will be office based Madrid or Barcelona : 5 days per month home office is possible
  • our client is an international Ingredients distributor
  • you have at least 5 years sales experience of Food Ingredients / Not FMCG products

The job holder primarily oversees the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.

Tasks

  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms, grains, flours, flakes... will be an asset.
  • Customer & supplier relationship management : Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management : Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product / solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition : Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes and identify new opportunities.Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and / or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
  • Negotiating with suppliers

Requirements

Degree in Food Technology / Food Chemistry Must have

Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development

exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,

high willingness to travel

very organized, reliable, positive thinking

Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have

you have a valid driving license Must have
