We’re looking for a Lead Full-stack Engineer (Hands-on) to join our client's growing team and drive technical excellence across the product.

As a Lead Full-stack Engineer, your mission will include :

• Leading a small team of developers building scalable, reliable systems in a cloud-native environment;
• Designing and implementing robust APIs and backend systems using Python and AWS (Lambda, Glue, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch);
• Guiding the team in working with AWS Chalice and Serverless Framework for Lambda deployments;
• Leveraging MariaDB on RDS and advanced SQL for managing and querying complex datasets;
• Driving the use of clean architecture and sound engineering practices to ensure long-term scalability and performance;
• Participating in Agile SCRUM rituals (Sprints, Standups, Planning), ensuring team alignment and velocity;
• Mentoring and onboarding developers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
• Supporting CI / CD pipelines, test automation, and release processes;
• Using AI tools like Cursor and GPT to boost development productivity and team output.

• 10+ years of overall software development experience;
• 5+ years managing full-stack teams in cloud environments;
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MariaDB;
• Solid understanding of serverless architecture and deployment practices (Chalice, Serverless Framework);
• Experience with Agile SCRUM methodologies;
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable in client facing roles;
• Comfortable with dev tools : Git, Jira, Slack, AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GPT).

• Experience with web scraping tools (e.g., Selenium);
• Prior experience scaling technical teams in fast-paced environments;
• Product and architecture mindset with ability to see the bigger picture.
