The Role
The Senior Paid Media Buyer at Ridge plays a crucial role in supporting the paid media team to execute and strategize effective paid social advertising campaigns across various channels - with an emphasis on ad platforms such as Meta, Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter / X, and Applovin. This role involves optimizing campaign performance, analyzing data, and contributing to strategic planning efforts. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply senior-level expertise within a leading, high-growth DTC brand while working alongside industry experts.
Responsibilities
- Campaign and Platform Ownership: Manage various paid social media platforms, including Meta, Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter / X, and Applovin. Stay updated on platform changes, updates, and best practices to ensure campaigns remain effective.
- Ad Building: Own the creation, management, and optimization of paid social media advertisements. Develop and implement ad copy and creative content that aligns with campaign objectives. Ensure all ads meet platform guidelines and brand standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Generate regular reports on key metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS. Use data to inform campaign adjustments and optimizations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in all ad campaigns and creative materials. Monitor ad performance for issues or discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
- Ad Creative: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling visuals and copy. Provide feedback and ensure creative assets are aligned with campaign deadlines.
- Campaign Management: Manage and optimize campaigns across all channels. Implement targeting strategies, monitor budgets, and adjust spend and bids to maximize performance.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to campaign strategies and media plans. Participate in brainstorming and research new advertising opportunities.
- External Partner Communication: Serve as the main contact for external ad partners and agencies. Review and share insights on campaign performance.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of DTC Paid Media Buying and Growth Marketing experience.
- Expertise in media buying on platforms such as Meta, Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter / X, and Applovin.
- Experience in DTC ad agencies or in-house within a $100M+ DTC brand is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics and attribution tools like Northbeam, Triple Whale, Haus, and GA4.
- Strong knowledge of advertising attribution models.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in reporting performance metrics.
- Experience in audience segmentation, retargeting, and A/B testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Notion, Slack, GSuite, Loom, and ad platform management.
