We are seeking a highly skilled AI Productivity Engineer to join our Engineering Operations team. This role focuses on leveraging advanced AI tools and protocols to enhance the efficiency, quality, and velocity of software development across engineering teams. You will bridge AI systems, developers, and operational workflows, designing, testing, and deploying intelligent tooling to make development faster, smarter, and more collaborative.

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered development tools that improve engineering workflows (e.g., code assistants, smart reviewers, intelligent scaffolding).
• Drive experimentation initiatives using data-informed hypotheses to validate productivity interventions.
• Operationalize agentic AI systems (e.g., autonomous dev agents) with knowledge of agent orchestration and feedback loops.
• Integrate AI capabilities using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and other standards to streamline model and agent interactions.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and DevOps to implement systems tracking productivity metrics, quality indicators, and developer experience signals.
• Evaluate and adapt open-source and proprietary models for in-editor assistance and IDE augmentation.
• Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure responsible AI usage in developer workflows.
• Monitor AI system performance, identify hallucination or misalignment risks, and build automated feedback and escalation mechanisms.
• Facilitate internal education and tooling onboarding for engineers to maximize AI benefits.

Are you the new Senior AI Productivity Engineer at Lansweeper?

• is fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• has +5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or productivity tooling.
• has proven experience deploying or experimenting with LLM-based developer tools, especially involving code generation, review, and planning.
• holds deep knowledge of agentic AI patterns and orchestration frameworks.
• has hands-on experience with MCP and familiarity with multi-agent development environments.
• has a strong understanding of Agile, software metrics, experimentation design (A / B testing, rollouts), and productivity frameworks (e.g., SPACE, DORA).
• is familiar with modern engineering environments (monorepos, CI / CD pipelines, telemetry systems, IDE plugins…)
• proficient in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• can independently build software applications through complete development lifecycle processes.

• Contributions to open-source AI tooling for developer productivity.
• Background in HCI, developer experience, or behavioral data analytics.
