Short Job Description : We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in the exciting world of digital marketing.

You'll be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize campaigns, and build innovative solutions within an Agile Scrum environment.

What You'll Do : As a Data Scientist, you'll be at the forefront of transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Your responsibilities will include : Designing and implementing machine learning models for various applications, including estimation, prediction, and optimization within programmatic advertising.

Performing extensive data processing and analysis, including working with large datasets (big data) from various sources.

Managing and querying both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g.

mongo).

Working with geospatial data, extracting insights and developing solutions based on location-specific information.

Collaborating closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders in an Agile Scrum methodology to deliver impactful data products.

Utilizing AWS services such as S3, EC2, Athena, and EMR for data storage, processing, and analysis.

Managing code and collaborating with the team using Git and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).

What We're Looking For : 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.

While prior experience in advertising is a plus, it's not strictly required.

A strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, demonstrated by a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.

Solid experience with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with Git for version control.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Athena, EMR).

Experience working within an Agile Scrum framework.

A proven ability to work with large and complex datasets.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

While 2-3 years of data science experience is key, we value candidates with 5+ years of overall professional work experience.

Bonus Points For : Experience in the digital advertising or ad-tech industry.

Familiarity with other big data technologies.
