We offer

The job

Your job as General Ledger at Mercedes-Benz Group Services includes being in charge of tasks related to accounting payable and accounting receivable - general postings, internal accounting postings, inventories, buy backs, fixed assets, and payroll.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Consolidation and reporting (Company Data and/or Business Unit Data)
• Closing tasks with quality and on time for the Mercedes companies (Wholesale business)
• Ensure that accounts are reconciled accurately and discrepancies are resolved
• Support business operations and process changes in the department
• Analyse data and promote the solution of errors
• Make continuous quality and process improvements

Your qualifications

You speak and write Danish at a native level (C1) and you are fluent in English (B2). A third language is a plus (e.g. Spanish, French, Italian, German, or Dutch).

Business Degree or equivalent studies related to Administration, Finance and/or Accounting.

Juniors with 6-12 months experience in General Ledger accounting are accepted (e.g. Bookkeepers, Accountants, Ledger Keepers, Accounting Clerks for different accounting systems).

You have a basic understanding and level of computer handling skills. Knowledge in SAP Module FI, CO, and EC-CS is valued. Good knowledge and practice in Excel.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, duties, and tasks, and you have excellent communication skills and can express your thoughts clearly.
