- Determine the sales strategy for each customer aligned with company product objectives.
- Update and achieve the yearly sales budget for assigned accounts.
- Develop a key account plan annually for dedicated accounts.
- Create operational plans quarterly or semi-annually.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts.
- Serve as the privileged contact for the client's decision-making unit (DMU).
- Organize visits with accounts and prospects, including NPD workshops, quality audits, exhibitions, and managing customer contacts.
- Manage offers and tenders.
- Lead operational negotiations for both small and large accounts, both daily and long-term.
- Identify specific customer needs and opportunities through regular visits and market positioning assessments.
- Gather information on customer needs, strategies, and priorities (short and long term).
- Communicate customer insights to Product Management and Marketing & Category departments.
- Understand customer organization and facilitate networking between company and client contacts, especially within marketing and category departments.
- Adjust company product portfolio and category management strategies to meet client-specific needs, maximizing sales growth.
- Implement systematic category management screening.
- Introduce NPD aligned with priorities and client demands, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Category Managers.
- Provide feedback on current products, concepts, and category management, including growth revenue and opportunities.
- Manage pricing policies in cooperation with the Product Manager.
- Monitor orders, margins, and profitability continuously.
- Follow up operational aspects with sales officers, including handling complaints, verifying solvency, following up on payments, and managing stock, orders, returns, and credits.
Perfil del candidato
- Master's degree in economics or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in French, English, and German.
- Knowledge of business processes, logistics, information flow, production systems, and stock management.
- Technical and product knowledge relevant to the industry.
