We are looking for a software developer to expand our team in Barcelona, our internal purpose is creating a work environment that facilitates and promotes the professional growth of the individuals comprising the COMSER team and our external purpose is to aid and expedite the industrialization of new medications that enhance the quality of life for people.

A software developer for pharmaceutical processes, specializing in Microsoft NET C#. Here's a detailed job description for such a position :

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET for laboratory, manufacturing, and quality systems.
2. Ensure all software meets pharmaceutical regulatory requirements such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11.
3. Implement core features including audit trails, electronic signatures, data integrity, and secure authentication.
4. Design and optimize SQL Server databases and data access components.
5. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in validated systems while maintaining traceability and documentation.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments such as laboratory team, qualification & validations department, quality assurance, to understand their needs and develop customized software solutions.
7. Continuous Improvement: Continuously explore ways to enhance existing systems and propose innovative solutions.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software systems and provide regular reports on project progress and performance.

What do we expect from you?

• Computer Engineering Degree, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Fluency in software fundamentals, including software design and maintainability.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in programming languages such as NET C# (Python, C++ or Java, as well as web programming, would be valuable).
• Experience with database management and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Business fluency in English and Spanish, with additional language skills as a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel at client site when needed (occasional).
