Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Optical Engineer to lead the development of custom Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal (FLC) optical elements for near-eye displays.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the advancement of Extended Reality (XR) technology. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative FLC optical solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and quality.

Your expertise in FLC materials, electrical and optical properties, and experimental ability to develop and characterise FLC optical elements will be essential in driving our product development forward.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Absolute Essentials : Deep understanding of FLC materials and their electrical and optical properties;
• Absolute Essentials : Experimental ability to develop FLC optical elements;
• Absolute Essentials : Experimental ability to characterise electrical and optical properties of FLC optical elements;
• Absolute Essentials : Overview of cutting-edge and industrially established methods for FLC alignment;
