Because of this growth, Black Bull Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Operations Department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with suppliers, creating long-term strategic alliances.
- Coordinate operations to ensure timely service delivery.
- Ensure the highest quality in customer service.
- Prepare operations during vessel pre-arrival with suppliers and clients.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Department during pre and post-arrival.
- Request quotations from suppliers, review and validate prices, and communicate with the Commercial Department and clients.
- Oversee operations during the entire port stopover.
- Resolve issues with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain continuous communication with customers, addressing their needs.
- Coordinate services during port stopovers.
- Record information in the CRM system.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Maintain effective communication with local agents and ensure service standards are met.
- Visit vessels and stay in port during operations when required.
- Control PDAs (RTOPs) and services rendered during and after calls.
- Review delivery notes and supplier invoices.
- Attend to customer requirements 24/7.
- Negotiate continuously with suppliers.
- Visit customers before, during, and after operations.
Minimum Requirements- Experience in vessel operations and/or shipping, with a proven track record in port and maritime sectors.
- Knowledge of the Defense Sector and international experience is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages such as French, Portuguese, Italian, or Arabic are a plus.
