Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer / Functional Consultant to join our global IT team. The role requires a strong combination of technical development expertise and functional business process knowledge to deliver end-to-end EBS solutions. You will be responsible for designing, customizing, and supporting Oracle EBS modules, ensuring they align with business needs and compliance standards.

Details: Location: Remote in EU; Employment Type: Full-Time, B2B Contract; Start Date: ASAP; Language Requirements: Fluent English

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS applications using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OA Framework.
• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), SCM (PO, INV, OM), HRMS, or others depending on business needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth business operations.
• Support EBS upgrades, patches, and migrations (R12.x or later preferred).
• Implement and maintain interfaces, conversions, and extensions between EBS and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, prepare documentation, and provide end-user training when needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and functional analysts to optimize performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite development and/or consulting.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, OA Framework.
• Functional knowledge of at least one core EBS module (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with EBS R12.x (12.1.3 / 12.2.x).
• Experience in system integrations (APIs, Web Services, SOA, REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Oracle E-Business Suite certifications.
• Experience in EBS to Cloud (Oracle Cloud ERP) migration projects.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and Oracle database administration basics.
• Domain experience in finance, manufacturing, telecom, or healthcare.
