Tasks

• Architecture, development and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS) and internal web tools
• Design and implementation of scalable backend services with Node.js & TypeScript (Express, NestJS)
• Implementation of modern frontends with TypeScript (React, Next.js)
• Database modeling / administration with relational and NoSQL systems as well as ORMs
• Definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST, GraphQL)
• Development and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Monitoring, logging and performance optimization in cloud environments (AWS)

Qualification

• 5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js & TypeScript
• 3 years of experience in frontend with TypeScript and React or Next.js
• Sound knowledge of REST and / or GraphQL
• Confidence in dealing with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud providers (AWS)
• Testing experience (Jest, Cypress)
• Experience in microservice architectures and event-driven systems
• German native, English very good
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working and sense of responsibility
• Modern working environment with the latest web technologies
• Close collaboration with experienced developer teams and AI experts
• Office in Cologne (5 days / week presence)
