ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in shaping a globally used low-code platform that empowers teams to build and scale solutions faster. Working in an agile, cross-functional environment, you will influence product direction, architecture, and engineering standards while turning complex business needs into reliable systems. This role offers meaningful ownership, close collaboration with experienced peers, and continuous professional growth in a diverse, product-driven culture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, build, and improve a low-code platform with Java;
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA in a geographically and culturally diverse environment;
• Develop and optimize APIs, integrations, and backend;
• Eliminate technical debt by applying engineering best practices and creative approaches;
• Keep high standards of solution quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

MUST HAVES

• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, proactivity, and ownership mentality;
• Hands-on best practices in developing new and modernizing existing software systems;
• 4+ years of experience as a hands-on Java developer ;
• 4+ years of experience using Spring framework, including SpringBoot ;
• 4+ years of experience designing complex architectures and modernizing existing ones ;
• Hands-on experience with API development and web services ;
• Strong communication skills;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• 4+ years of experience with Hibernate;
• Experience migrating from old versions of SpringBoot and Hibernate;
• 2+ years of experience as a hands-on Front End developer for responsive web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, or similar.
