Formación

Space Mission Analysis Engineer

Join our team and build the furure of space technology

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Mission Analysis Engineer; with passion in what you do , talented and experienced; to

What you will be doing?
  • Perform mission analysis tasks for small satellite missions (orbit selection, orbit propagation, coverage, access windows, ΔV requirements, station passes). Develop and maintain technical budgets (power, delta-V, pointing, etc).
  • Support verification by analysis of mission-level requirements.
  • Conduct thermal analysis (desirable, not required).
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of internal mission analysis tools (Python-based).
  • Use STK to perform mission analysis and generate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Document results and contribute to technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.).
  • Interface with Systems Engineering and other teams to ensure coherence across mission performance budgets.
  • Support design iterations through analytical justification of key design decisions.
What do we need in our team
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in space missions, preferably with small satellites or CubeSats.
  • Solid knowledge of orbital mechanics and mission analysis methods.
  • Experience in technical budget development (power, ΔV, pointing, etc).
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
  • Experience with STK for mission analysis.
  • Experience in space radiation analysis.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
